Urban Farm in San Francisco Gives Away Thousands of Pounds of Produce Free

I would love to have a farm where giving away large portions of my produce would actually be in the mission statement. :o)

Urban Farming

The urban farm is the wave of the "future". I think it should be more accurately labeled as a return to the past. Communities have always been uniquely connected to their agriculture. It's obvious that, without food, the community is doomed, and in this era of cramped spaces and food shortages, empowering people to sustain themselves would usher in a era of overall personal pride.
